Ajara: The Department of English organised an English-Week' from 17th to 22nd August, 2026 for the college students. Under this activity various 6 interesting competitions were arranged and students were encouraged to participate in them. The motive behind this was to create an awareness among the students, to increase confidence, to learn, speak and think in English.
The interesting competitions were Word-Chain (to increase the vocabulary ability of the students), Para-Writing (to boost the students' thinking capacity), Reading (to dispel fear about English reading). Hand-Writing (to develop the skill of English writing), Spell-Bee (to enhance an ability to hear and write English spelling correctly) and Singing An English Song (to create interest among the stunts about English melody). A lot of students participated in all these competitions enthusiastically and spontaneously. Their response was quite positive for the organisers.
At the end of these competitions, the winners were felicitated by the auspicious hands of the dignitaries Principal Dr. Kiran Potdar, Vice Principal Prof. Dilip Sankpal, Prof. Manoj Patil, Office Superintendent Yogesh Patil.

They won various prizes in differentcompetitions. Coordinator Prof. Ramesh Chavan, Co-ordinator Dr. Salama Attar, Prof. Shekhar Shiudkar organized this activity.
